More than twice as hard as oak and extremely stable, our strand bamboo floors are made by heating long strips of bamboo, which are pulled apart into strands, woven together and then compressed under extreme pressure and heat. This process gives our strand woven flooring a handsome, hardwood look. As a tongue-and-groove flooring, it can be installed using either a nail-down or glue-down method. The flooring -- throughout ...was a really exciting aspect of this remodel... Although there were many changes in turning our charmless 1940's cheap post-war quick-build into a welcoming and gracious space -- and we credit Hahka Builders with inspired design -- the flooring was the most dramatic and joyful single change. I found your people a delight to work with in terms of knowledge and customer service. I love the floor and look forward to it growing and aging with us. It is almost TOO scratch resistant but I know it will get character with time. The contractor did learn that stuff bought "over the internet" can be great, and he is as thrilled as we are with the final results.

I have installed French doors with lights on each side too improve our view of the 8th green of the Wyndemere golf course hole #8 that is in our view along with our pool and spa. In the 500 sq ft garage area we have we have applied two coats of the Streetshoe product that you recommended. The final result is outstanding. My garage area turned out to be so inviting that I've added a billiard & pingpong table.

Our family is so pleased with our flooring - we absolutely love it. We purchased the strand woven natural dark. If anyone out there is debating whether or not to purchase this floor - they should just do it. We have 3 young boys and a very active dog. The strand woven floor is THE best choice for an active family like ours. My father has a traditional oak hardwood floor and unfortunately our dog has scratched up his floor just from the few times he has been there. The strand woven floor is extremely durable and with all that we do to it every day does not show any scratches or wear from the dog or the 3 boys! It's wonderful.
