Our strand woven click-lock carbonized flooring is not stained. These unique bamboo wood floors get its toasty color from a heating process that darkens the bamboo before it's woven. Unlike most other engineered or click lock floors, this floor can be resanded up to three times!

These bamboo hardwood floors have got it all: the beauty and eco-friendliness of bamboo, the high-traffic, pet- and kid-friendly durability of strand woven flooring and ease of click-lock installation. No glue, no nails, no mess. The boards just "click" together and look exactly like tongue-and-groove flooring once installed.

Because it's a floating floor, our strand woven click lock bamboo flooring can be installed over concrete or plywood subfloors. It's also humidity friendly, so it works in a beach, lake or riverfront home. As engineered bamboo flooring, it has a wear layer of strand woven bamboo added to a four-ply, high-density fiber wood core for extremely high dimensional stability.

We have just celebrated one year with our bamboo floors and I have to tell you that we couldn't be happier. My husband and I have three dogs and two cats and thought that the first scratches would appear within days. I am excited to tell you that after one year, and tweleve crazy dog paws, our floors are scratch free. Even on the stairs!! We wanted the look of hardwood floors, but could not, with a good conscious, promote the destruction of forests for that look. Installing bamboo floors was the better option. Not only did we invest in a sustainable product, but it turned out to be more durable than hardwood. Installing bamboo floors was one of the best decisions we could have ever made. Working with Ambient was another. You are incredibly knowledgeable about the product you are selling and helped answer all our questions. I would recommend these floors to anyone.

The floor was so easy to lay. The room is 25' x 15' and it took us 2 days. Amazing since we had never tried anything like this before....just read the directions! The only challenges were door openings, but Jack had a handy tool that sawed the bottom of door moldings while in place, so that help tremendously. We would definitely lay another Ambient floor! Floating was easy, we'd never want to deal with nails or glue. At one point we picked up 2 full rows of planks because we didn't like the color of one of the boards laid previously. We would not have been able to do that if it was not floated. The color is beautiful with all the varying shades. Without that it would be boring. Cleaning is a breeze, scuffmarks just buff off with a hand cloth. Hard to imagine that it was formally a daycare classroom in our home, that had carpeting and ceramic tile and full of toys, arts and crafts, etc. Now, instead of working in there, I'm relaxing!
